Featuring both a Solo Violin performing with dreamy backing tracks, and a romantic, relaxed Guitar & Violin Duo.
Based in the upper Central Coast, NSW and performing throughout the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas.
A boutique ensemble
Diamond Strings is a boutique ensemble and luxury service, directed by it’s founder, creative director and principal violinist, Melanie Cuthbertson.
This gorgeous string duo is made up of the super sweet husband & wife team, Melanie & Michael. Their exceptional musicality, stylish presentation, and complete adoration of weddings make them the perfect choice to look after your wedding music!
The ideal level of sound
Unique to Diamond Strings is their state-of-the-art amplification service, which is included in all their packages.
The discreet speaker system creates an even wash of sound, and the musicians are heard at the ideal background music level for your celebration.
The little things
Diamond Strings offer to provide their own chairs, and an outdoor umbrella in case of sprinkling weather. They have custom pegs for keeping their music in place during a breeze, and stand lights for twilight performances or for reading music under mood lighting.
Perfectly pretty
Diamond Strings just love things to be perfectly pretty, performing with vintage style music stands, black leather folders, and always in stunning attire.

The Diamond Strings musicians are throughly prepared and supported with detailed booking forms, and rehearsals when required. Melanie has chosen to focus on exquisite artistry over an inexpensive service, valuing the Diamond Strings musicians by charging rates respective of their incredible talent.
